How to put on a full body safety harness?

  • Check the safety harness by holding the D-ring buckle on the back pad to make sure the webbing is not entangled. Begin wearing the safety harness and slide it over your arms to your shoulders. Ensure that all webbing is free of tangles and free to hang.

  • The straps must be vertical and not close to the center of the body. Leg webbing grabs leg webbing and connects them to the buckles on the webbing on either side of the hips. Thread excess length of webbing into adjustment ring. The chest webbing holds the chest strap together with a loop-through buckle.

  • The chest strap must be 15cm below the shoulder, and any excess length of the webbing should be inserted into the adjustment ring. Shoulders: Adjust the webbing all over your body from the shoulders, make sure the leg webbing is just below your hips and the D-ring on your back is between your shoulder blades.
