1) Rated strength of seat belt components
The seat belt components used on single-seat seats, including webbing, release devices, and other parts, can withstand a load of at least 6672 N in the seat belt axis after being tightened according to the specified test requirements. If it is a seat belt assembly used on a double seat seat, the rated strength should be at least 13344 N. The rated strength of the seat belt components is marked on each half of each seat belt component accordingly.
2) Seat belt release device
The seat belt assembly is adjustable and has an easy-to-operate quick release device. After the safety belt webbing bears at least equal to the specified tensile load, the safety belt user can relatively easily open the release device.
3) The characteristics of webbing and others
The standard width of the seat belt webbing is 51 mm. Taking into account all the necessary production processes such as weaving, dyeing, anti-virus, flame retardant and abrasion treatment, the webbing width can be controlled at (49 ± 2) mm. The slot or hole on the metal piece connecting the webbing is not less than 51 mm. The rated breaking strength of the webbing is at least 50% higher than the specified strength of the component, and its flame retardant performance meets the specified requirements to prevent the strength reduction or loss caused by weather, corrosion, sharp angle wear and other reasons during use.
